Noctura 400 is a treatment for diabetic eye disease, including:

Diabetes and eye damage

Diabetes can damage blood vessels in the eye, causing them to leak fluid and grow weak new vessels. This can damage the macula, the part of the eye responsible for sharp vision. The Noctura 400 uses light of a specific wavelength to target the eyes at night. This light:

1. Reduces the need for extra oxygen in the eye (needed in darkness).
2. Prevents a growth factor (VEGF) from making weak blood vessels.
3. Slows down diabetic eye disease progression and protects your vision.

The Noctura wavelength is specifically selected to target rod photoreceptors in the retina, which may prevent rod cells from adapting to the dark.

This is designed to reduce the need for the additional oxygen, which would otherwise be needed by the dark-adapted eye. It also reduces the risk of nocturnal retinal hypoxia in the diabetic eye.

Using Noctura 400
