Diabetes Professional Care, Olympia, London

PolyPhotonix were once again at the Diabetes Professional Care event in London, this time with our new partners Nipro and our new Healthcare Business Development Manager, Elliot McCollum. Elliot brings years of experience within commercial healthcare and specifically, Ophthalmology, which is great for us. He is now well versed in the inner workings of Noctura 400 and was a great asset at the event.

With Noctura 400 recently having been added to the NHS Drug tariff, we had really exciting news to share with diabetes professionals, who were equally as excited to be one step closer to providing the mask to their patients.

It was great to make some new connections and to keep up with the forever developing landscape of the diabetes care pathway. The speakers at the conference raised issues that we’re all too familiar with – we speak regularly with our patients and the challenges of living with diabetes are real, multiple and varied. The costs, variety and effectivity of various forms of care were certainly a discussion point, as well as new technologies and the rise of AI, particularly in eye screening.

We also caught up with some of our existing contacts – our colleagues from DRWF and Trend Diabetes – we really value the collaborations that we’ve had with them and we hope that we’ll have many more.
