Event: Think Like a System 2.0: Improving the way we procure for innovation at scale
The RSA (Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce) is supported by 29,000 fellows and their mission is to share powerful ideas, carry out cutting-edge research and build networks and opportunities for people to collaborate, helping to create fulfilling lives and a flourishing society.
A special event is being organised in Edinburgh on 23rd March to convene a select group of innovators. procurement experts, practitioners and commissioners to apply the RSA’s model of change to the challenges of procuring and scaling innovation. The event, funded by Innovate UK is a follow up to last year’s project which looked at ways to optimize the potential of the UK’s Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) as a catalyst for social innovation.
The SBRI, innovation adoption and scaling challenges are all issues which are very close to the heart of our CEO Richard Kirk and he was delighted to accept an invitation to present as part of the Global Case Studies session. Richard’s talk will be live-streamed, recorded and his blog article will also be published on the RSA website.
